Made by hand in Roswell, Georgia, USA
You'll feel it before you see it.
Full-grain European lambskin, cut and stitched here by hand — every panel, strap and lining, with no cheaper leather hiding further in. Nothing stamped on the outside, and nothing about how it wears that we won't tell you first.

Full grain, every bag, every part
The cost-cutting in this trade happens where you don't look — a full-grain front panel with a split-leather lining, or a strap sold as "genuine leather," which is the polite word for scraps pressed together. Every part of every bag here is full grain. There is no cheaper version further in.
Made by hand in Georgia
Not designed here and assembled somewhere cheaper. Cut, stitched, burnished and boxed in Roswell, by one pair of hands, which is why there are only ever a few at a time.
We'll tell you what it can't do
Lambskin is the softest leather made and it is not the toughest. It marks, and it doesn't like rain. That goes in the box in writing, because you should know it before you spend the money — not the first time it rains.
Mended for as long as you own it
Most houses write a warranty vague enough to refuse: scuffs excluded, "technically repairable" at their discretion, and a bag that's seen an outside cobbler barred from their workshop for good. Send yours back and the person who stitched it repairs it. No time limit, no receipt, no penalty for having tried someone else first.

The Leather
Plongé is a finish, not a breed
The hide is dyed all the way through rather than sprayed on the surface, then polished by hand. That's why the colour doesn't sit on top of it, and why a scuff goes soft instead of pale. The grain stays visible and expressive, so no two panels match and no two bags do either.
It is lambskin, which means it is thin — roughly a millimetre against the millimetre and a half of a calfskin bag. You get a hide that drapes and feels like nothing else in the price, and you give up armour. That is the whole trade, and we would rather you make it with your eyes open.

The Making
Craftsmanship is the one claim every brand makes
Which is exactly why it stopped meaning anything. Prices in this category have climbed for years while production moved offshore and materials quietly got cheaper, and the word carried on regardless. So rather than tell you ours is impeccable, here it is in a form you can check yourself.
- Full grain, all the way through
- Front panels, gussets, straps, linings, tabs. No split leather where it won't be seen, no bonded scrap sold as "genuine leather." Cut the bag open and it is the same material everywhere.
- One pair of hands, start to finish
- The same person cuts the hide, sets the stitch, burnishes the edges and packs the box. Nothing is passed down a line, and nothing is inspected by someone who didn't make it.
- Edges built up, not painted over
- Each edge is sealed in thin coats and sanded between every one. It is slow, it is invisible in a photograph, and it is the difference between an edge that stays closed for a decade and one that splits in a year.
- The parts nobody inspects get the same work
- The inside of a strap fold. The underside of the base. The seam behind the lining. Craftsmanship is only ever tested where no one is looking, so that is where we would rather you judge it.

The List
We make a few at a time. This is how you hear about them.
Each run comes out of a couple of hides, so the colour moves when the hides do. Leave your name and we'll write when the next ones are cut. No schedule, no newsletter, just that.
